Dear Dance Families,
Welcome, or welcome back, to The Dance Complex! We are beyond excited to kick off a brand-new season full of movement, music, memories, and most importantly, fun. Whether you're a returning family or brand new to our dance family, we can't wait to see your dancer shine both in and out of the studio.
Our staff has been working hard to prepare the studio, plan amazing classes, and create a positive, supportive environment where your dancer can grow in skill, confidence, and creativity. We’re truly thrilled to be starting this journey with you.
TUITION REMINDER
You’ll receive one email invoice this month with your tuition total. After this month, monthly invoices will not be sent. Tuition is due the first week of each month. We accept cash and Venmo only.
Exceptions:
-
Solo/Duet students
-
Changes to registration (which will impact tuition)
If either applies to your dancer, you will receive an updated invoice as needed.
PARKING REMINDERS
Please remember that we share our studio space with residents:
-
Do NOT park behind the building or block any vehicles in
-
If the main parking lot is full, you are welcome to use the bank parking lot and walk over
Your help with this allows us to stay in good standing with our neighbors and maintain a safe space for all.
PAYMENTS & OFFICE INFO
-
The office will be staffed throughout September, but after that it will only be staffed occasionally.
-
For your convenience, we have a red payment drop box located near the office window. You may drop off payments, forms, or any other paperwork there anytime.
SNACKS POLICY
Snacks are available for purchase, but due to some past sticky fingers (literally and figuratively!), snack sales must now go through a staff member only. Unfortunately, the honor system just didn’t hold up! Thank you for your understanding.
FIRST MONTH GOALS
Our goal for September is simple:
-
Get dancers comfortable and confident in class
-
Make sure they have the correct supplies and attire
-
Begin building strong technique and training
-
And most importantly… HAVE FUN!
PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
We have a beautiful "First Day of Dance" banner set up outside (weather permitting!) for photo opportunities all week long. Snap a few pics and share the memories, don’t forget to tag us on social media if you post!
QUESTIONS?
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email with any questions, big or small. We’re here to help and support you every step of the way.
Here’s to a fantastic, joyful, and inspiring season at The Dance Complex! Let’s get dancing!

Tap is an audible art form which incites the creation of music and melody from the feet. Tap class introduces and enforces the understanding and creation of different rhythms. Students will learn how to implement a ‘musical ear’ for analysis of timing and proper tap technique. Students will also gain an understanding of the difference between rhythms that are ‘even’ or ‘syncopated’, intricate counter-rhythms, and practice using their bodies as an instrument of percussion.
